Lovely place, lovely staff, really good coffee! We were just passing through city and it was a nice surprise for us to find a cafe with GF and all-vegan options. We tried sweet and savoury, all tasty but the pistachio törtchen is highly recommended:)

Wonderful cafe! Super knowledgeable staff who truly care about their work. Staff took the time to explain the differences between all of their in house roasts. In-house roasted beans available for purchase. Very delicious gluten free dessert options!

Love this place! The best coffee in Berlin/Brandenburg, Germany, rich, smooth and full of flavor. Their sweets are yummm and the atmosphere is always warm and inviting. They are also incredibly creative with their menu, surprising you with new and delicious combinations.

Halo, I'm a South Korean. I arrived in Germany for the first time last month and am currently residing in Brandenburg an der Havel. If you've seen an Asian woman around town recently, it's probably me :) On the recommendation of a local friend, I visited Bohnarchie, and it has truly made me happy. Since I’m still not proficient in German, I always focus on the body language of those around me. The two owners of Bohnarchie are incredibly kind and attentive to their customers. They deliver coffee and desserts promptly as soon as an order is placed. When the café gets busy, they work seamlessly together, alternating between taking orders and handling payments to ensure that guests don’t have to wait too long. Their teamwork is so in sync that I imagine they must be either a couple or family. From their body language, I can tell how genuinely they welcome their customers and how much joy they take in serving coffee and desserts they've carefully prepared. They use oat milk instead of regular milk in their coffee, and the coffee beans they roast themselves pair wonderfully with oat milk. Honestly, before trying the coffee at Bohnarchie, I was somewhat skeptical about coffee with oat milk, but they completely changed my perspective, and I am truly delighted. The coffee at Bohnarchie is absolutely delicious. In Korea, I often made pour-over coffee using a Hario filter at home or visited cafés that served coffee tailored to my taste, including pour-over coffee, americano, and latte. I’m not a coffee expert, just someone who loves coffee, but I do know what good coffee tastes like. Initially, I was disappointed with the coffee I had when I first arrived in Germany, but Bohnarchie has definitely met my expectations. I also tried a chocolate-filled baked bread at the café, though I can’t quite recall the exact name, but I believe it’s one of the most popular items on the menu. What’s more, the café is located along one of my favorite walking routes, and I must say that the location is excellent. Furthermore, I was deeply impressed by the café’s exterior and interior design, including the bar table arrangement, the seating, and even the rest room. Everything has been carefully arranged and beautifully designed to allow the owners to handle any situation with ease. The spacious, the rest room is cozy, clean, and so comfortable that I could almost take a nap there. The Wi-Fi connection is fast, making it a great spot for working on a laptop or smartphone. Personally, I enjoy finding the small differences between South Korean and German cafés, which adds to the fun of visiting. P.S. I would love to engage in more conversations with the two owners, but since this café is constantly busy with customers, I make sure to leave quickly after finishing my coffee or dessert to avoid taking up too much of their time. I deeply respect the owners and sincerely hope they can continue running this wonderful café without exhaustion for many years to come. I can feel how much thought, effort, and practice they’ve invested into every little detail. Creating a unique menu that represents the essence of their café must have been the most challenging part, but they’ve done an excellent job. I’m not sure how long I’ll stay in Germany, but I’m certain that this will be a place I’ll cherish for many years, even until the day I develop dementia. Finally, I have a request for the two owners: Please take good care of your wrists and shoulders to ensure a long and healthy life! I’m cheering for Bohnarchie and for Sophie and Patrick! :)

We have experienced a very good coffee and pastry. The decor is eclectic and recycle furniture which is really admirable and beautiful. The atmosphere is calm and serene. A very nice experience. Thank you I like to add we also bought some coffee beans for home use. We highly recommend the in-house roasted coffee. Enjoyed the flavour taste and degree of roasting. Look forward to visit this welcoming and excellent coffeehouse again.
